The method I call the “7-P Formula” is the reason the 21 Day Challenge has been so effective at helping people gain strength, lose weight, and feel more energized in such a short period of time.
The 7-P Formula is the simplest, yet intense and challenging way to get the most from each workout in the least amount of time. The formula works by simultaneously challenging multiple aerobic and muscle development pathways at one time, which puts your fitness and health results into fast forward.
I would sum it up by calling it a compound fitness approach. Instead of wasting hours doing individual workouts and training different styles or muscle groups on different days, you can use this framework to train the entire body in multiple ways in JUST 3 days a week. 7 P's are:
- PUSH: Develop strength in the major anterior muscle groups such as Pectorals Major, Deltoids, Triceps, and Abdominals
- PULL: Develop strength in the major posterior muscle groups such as Latissimus Dorsi, Posterior Deltoids, Spinal Muscles, Trapezius,and Rhomboids.
- PRESS: Develop strength, conditioning, and better core stability by focusing on the major leg groups such as Quadriceps Hamstrings, and Pelvic Musculature.
- PUMP: Develop greater endurance by combining your muscular exertion with cardiovascular strength and aerobic training.
- PLYO: Develop power, agility, balance and coordination as you challenge all major muscle groups through dynamic explosive movements.
- PROGRESSION: Simultaneously develop muscular endurance, power, and agility as you combine all workouts into a progressive training style. (A Dad Bod staple workout!)
- PAUSE: Take effective timed breaks to prepare your body for further interval training. Or, take Light Active Recovery Days to let your body heal and spend quality time with the family.
So I’ve put that “7-P Formula” into a step-by-step, 12 week, 36 workout program that will guide dad from “out of time”, “out of energy”, and “out of motivation”…all the way to Dad Bod Super Hero!
Even if you’re the busiest dad in the world… Even if you prep your kids in the morning, work a full time job, pick them up, and get them to bed… There’s still enough time in your week!

WHAT IS "DADBOD VIP" COMMUNITY?
The Dad Bod VIP Community is where we will launch the Dad Bod Workout Program together. Similar to the 21 Day Challenge group, this community will provide the support, accountability, feedback, and progress reports for everyone to share.
Coach Fabien and I will personally monitor the groups progress and offer our advice and suggestions if people are struggling or needing help with any part of the workouts.
After the implementation is done, we will continue to work in this VIP community to help people further their goals.
How soon will I see results ?
It is not unusual to start seeing and feeling results within the first week! Dads in our community have lost up to 6 pounds the first week, and up to 20 pounds within 3 weeks. Couple this with the strength challenges and you can expect to experience positive results within the first 7 days!
Is 30 minutes enough to get good results?
Research has concluded that with this style of training, you don’t need any more than 30 minutes to get the most effective changes in your body. Of course, you should be as consistent as possible in completing 3 Dad Bod WODs per week and compliment that with a clean and effective eating regimen.
Can my kids join me for the workouts ?
Because the Dad Bod WODs require no equipment, it is entirely possible that your kid(s) can join you in your exercise. Just be mindful that they don’t over due it and don’t hurt themselves either - That's why we've created a special "Dad Bod Buddies Program"
Is this workout just for Dads or can Moms do it as well?
This workout stye is for everyone! Dads and moms can go through them together, or separately if they wish. And if some exercises are too difficult for either dad or mom, there are alternatives/modifications they can replace them with, or start The Dad Bod Partners Program
What is the best time to work out?
I personally prefer to complete my workouts first thing in the morning. I just have more freedom and I don’t lose any time with my family by exercising while they are asleep. You may not be a morning person, in which case, the net best option is performing your exercise in the afternoon.
Research supports the notion that there are health benefits for choosing either morning or afternoon for your exercise routine, with studies slightly favouring the afternoon. Exercise in the evening showed the least amount of benefits.
If I’m low on motivation and energy, what should I do?
When starting a workout routine, it is quite common to develop DOMS, which stands for Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. Typically this will last anywhere from 48-72 hours. If the soreness is too much for you, use ice to help the tissue heal faster and numb the pain.
One other critical thing to do is make sure to keep moving. Not exercising per say, but making sure to take a nice long brisk walk, light jog, or hike. This will facilitate the flushing of fluids through the system.If you’re low on energy, feeling tired, and unmotivated to workout, spend more time in the active warm up. Instead of 5-10 minutes, maybe take 20 instead. Spend time warming up the body and preparing mentally for the workout.
By raising your body temperature and heart rate, you can access the fuel your body needs to push you through the next 30 minutes.
